The process of making changes in SOLIDWORKS and seeing these changes in Virtual Reality is really as simple as “Save” and “Open.” When we return to eDrawings 2020 and re-open this assembly, we see that the fence is now green. Users at this event were excited to try out the new eDrawings VR functionality. They enjoyed seeing how easily we could open native SOLIDWORKS files in a Virtual Reality environment, without any need to export these file nor the need to create a new environment in a third-party program. Users also loved seeing that changes to our files in SOLIDWORKS would show up, automatically, the next time we opened the part or assembly in eDrawings VR. Most of all – I think users liked the price – since eDrawings Professional is included in SOLIDWORKS Professional and SOLIDWORKS Premium, which meant that most of our users already have access to this amazing new tool.
